This game was my first big team project spanning more than 2 days. We made a roguelike autobattler game for the an arcade machine. It was really interesting to work with abnormal controllers, especially since previously we were only really using keyboard, and maybe mice and controllers up to this point. This is also the first game that I worked on that got officially published, being by Bradley, and can be played at the 8-Bit Beercade.
The initial idea for this game was making it a procedurally generated world, however that wasn't interesting, so we ended up changing it to a single simple map.
I did almost all of the programming, including the movement, the multiplayer, the item system, the enemy AI, and more.
This was a fun project to work on with the team, and I think it's really cool that people can actually play this on both their PCs and on an arcade machine.
